RIMEX’s primary markets include mining, forestry,agriculture and industrial equipment, specializing in haul trucks and loaders. Our continued growth and development has created a need for a Welder in our Saskatoon branch. The position is full time - 40 hours per week, with possible shift work. We offer competitive wages as well as a comprehensive benefit package after the completion of the probationary period.
Position requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and shut down welding equipment as neededFollow job routers drawings and other written or verbal instructions as directedRepair faulty product using welding proceduresInspect completed welds to ensure that they meet company standardsFill out the appropriate paperwork for documentation purposesOperate all equipment, including small hand tools and welding equipment, in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation,policies, and proceduresGeneral clean up of working area to help maintain a safe working environmentEducation & Experience:
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent2nd or 3rd year Apprentice or Red Seal QualifiedLean 6S training an assetCrane, Rigging, and WHMIS training are considered an assetExperience in a manufacturing environmentExperience as a labourer; or completed pre-apprenticeship trainingSkills and Abilities
Great attention to detail with the ability to focus on the task at handStrong communication skills (verbal and written) with fluency in EnglishTeam oriented thinkerAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work with moderate supervisionProven ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety proceduresAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsBenefits
