Nortek Data Center Cooling is hiring an HVAC Assembler to create energy-efficient air units in a stimulating and air-conditioned environment.
In this position, you will play a key role in assembling mechanical and electronic components, ensuring precision and safety at every stage. You will follow detailed instructions and leverage your skills in a collaborative setting while aligning with Nortek’s core beliefs to foster innovation and quality in HVAC solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow blueprints to accurately assemble HVAC units
• Operate tools for mechanical assembly and repairs
• Maintain safety protocols and a clean workspace
• Build positive relationships and team dynamics
• Support Lean processes for waste reduction
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of assembly or similar experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Skilled in using power and hand tools
• Capable of lifting heavy components up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrated English communication abilities
