The Market Activations Coordinator plans and executes marketing events, partnerships, CSR, and employee engagement initiatives while supporting brand visibility and organizational objectives. The role also manages marketing administration, including CRM, budget tracking, internal communications platforms, and cross-functional project coordination.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
Marketing
Plan, coordinate, and execute trade shows, corporate events, sponsorship activations, CSR initiatives, and partnership marketing programs
Support the development and execution of internal and external marketing initiatives to drive engagement and brand visibility
Coordinate marketing campaigns tied to events, activations, and employee engagement programs
Manage annual corporate giveaways and SWAGS from planning through execution
Monitor and support marketing performance tracking for activations and campaigns
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
Branding
Ensure consistent application of corporate branding across events, SWAGS, intranet content, and marketing materials
Coordinate selection, approval, and procurement of branded merchandise, corporate giveaways, and promotional items
Maintain brand alignment across partnership materials, sponsorship assets, and CSR communications
Support brand presence and visual identity across trade shows, activations, and internal platforms
Oversee compliance with brand guidelines for internally and externally produced materials
Communication
Manage internal communications related to marketing activities, events, CSR programs, and company initiatives
Maintain and update company intranet content to ensure timely and accurate internal messaging
Coordinate dissemination of event, campaign, and partnership communications across departments
Support creation and distribution of internal marketing announcements and engagement materials
Process and manage internal marketing requests through MS Forms and ensure timely follow-up and communication
Administration
Manage marketing budget tracking, purchase orders (POs), and payment requests related to all marketing activities
Oversee online company store operations, including inventory monitoring, order processing, and fulfillment
Coordinate annual corporate giveaways, including item selection, ordering, inventory control, and employee distribution
Maintain accurate records of marketing assets, inventory, and procurement documentation
Process and coordinate internal requests for marketing collateral, materials, and departmental support
Support logistics, scheduling, and documentation for events, trade shows, and activations
Maintain and update marketing systems, databases, MS Forms, and tracking tools for operational efficiency
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in marketing coordination, communications, or events management
Experience planning and executing trade shows, corporate events, sponsor ships, CSR initiatives, and partnership activations
Experience supporting intranet or internal communications platforms considered an asset
ACCOUNTABILIITES
Marketing deliverables meet quality standards and timeline expectations.
Regularly meets with the Marketing Supervisor to discuss recommendations and revisions.
Positive and professional relationships and communications with internal and external contacts essential to the performance of the position's duties are established and maintained.
Performance issues are addressed and corrected as they arise.
Compliance with internal standards, policies, procedures, applicable legislation, regulations, and established best practices is consistently maintained.
JOB SCOPE
This role is responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of marketing, brand activation, and internal engagement initiatives, including trade shows, events, sponsor ships, CSR programs, partnerships, corporate giveaways, SWAGS, and employee engagement activities. The position also oversees marketing administration such as budget tracking, procurement (POs and invoices), CRM and MS Forms management, intranet updates, internal marketing requests, and online store administration including inventory control and order fulfillment, ensuring efficient delivery of marketing activities and consistent brand presence across all channels.
EFFORT
Manages marketing assignments with competing deadlines and shifting priorities. Responds to emerging and unforeseen situations in a timely and effective manner. Builds and maintains productive working relationships with the Business Development & Marketing team, cross-functional teams, and customer contacts. Reviews work for accuracy and quality as required and takes accountability for results.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The incumbent works in an office environment. May be required to attend special events.
