Promotions Specialist

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a  Promotions Specialist  on a permanent basis on our Shared Services team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and will be based in  Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The Promotions Specialist position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of Convenience Store and Food retail promotional and marketing programs, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns that drive sales, enhance customer engagement, and ensure consistent execution across the Co-operative Retailing System.

What you’ll do:

Lead Convenience Store promotional programs and support Food Store initiatives to drive sales growth through effective marketing and promotions

Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns with key stakeholders, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered on time across print, digital, and social media channels.

Collaborate with Category Managers, Operations teams, and local Co-ops to support promotional execution and ensure timely communication and processing of merchandising programs.

Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while supporting Convenience Store projects and initiatives that enhance marketing, operations, customer experience, and program execution across the CRS.

Who you’ll work with:

The Team:  Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Promotions, you will work closely with Promotions, Marketing and Category Management teams. This team strives to cultivate a culture of accountability and partnership fostered through open communication, stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to following established standards while adapting to evolving business needs.

The Collaborators:  You will work closely with other functions in our Shared Services business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Local Co-op Marketing Teams, and Operations Advisers to ensure the communication and execution of Marketing and Promotional Programs.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

Have 3-6 years of relevant experience

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).

Energetic, self-motivated professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
