Youth Worker at EGADZ

Engage with youth at the Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre EGADZ Inc. as a full-time Youth Worker. This role emphasizes daily operational support in a welcoming Drop-in Centre setting.

You'll be responsible for building relationships with hard-to-serve youth, offering them vital services such as clothing, nutritional support, and guidance. This position also requires organizing sports and cultural activities, ensuring a holistic approach to youth development within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations at the Drop-in Centre

• Provide essential nutrition and clothing services

• Advocate for youth and facilitate referrals accordingly

• Organize and lead recreational and cultural programs

• Maintain effective relationships with community partners

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years of related experience in youth services

• Awareness of Indigenous cultures and challenges

• Valid driver's license with clean driving history

• Recent Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
