Position: Full-Time Registered Practical Nurse Role

As an essential member of the Acute Medical Unit, you will leverage your specialized nursing skills to forge therapeutic relationships with patients. Current BLS certification and registration with the College of Nurses are required for applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create therapeutic patient relationships through effective communication

• Assess and implement health care needs for patients

• Administer prescribed medications, including IVs

• Document patient care accurately and methodically

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements:

• Valid RPN certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• One year of acute medical experience preferred

• Proficient in electronic patient records

• Commitment to ongoing nursing education and skill enhancement

• Consistent attendance and a strong performance history
