The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client‑centered care.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Nursing diploma is acceptable
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
• Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable

• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
