Donor Centre Registered Nurse

Become a part-time Donor Centre Nurse at Canadian Blood Services in Saskatoon. Utilize your nursing expertise to promote a positive donor experience while helping collect vital blood products.
In this temporary role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Collections team by ensuring safe and effective blood collection practices. Your experience will guide donor education efforts, and you’ll take the lead in training fellow staff members during events. Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate donor screenings and registrations

• Provide clear instructions and information to donors

• Coach and consult with team members

• Execute venipuncture and provide donor aftercare

• Ensure compliance with all documentation standards
Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license required

• 2 years of nursing experience is preferred

• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus

• Competence in using Microsoft Word and Outlook

• Multilingual abilities are advantageous
