Job Description

The Geriatric Services Program Registered Nurse is a competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, groups and families with health care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and rapidly changing status. As a professional, the Geriatric Services Program nurse demonstrates a caring approach which reflects and incorporates geriatric expertise. This position is part of an interprofessional team working with multiple disciplines. The incumbent will adapt and practice within the assigned service streams of the program, some independently, in office and in the community: in-reach, outreach, day program and clinics.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

• Minimum of five (5) years recent acute care nursing experience
• Three (3) of which caring for older adults with complex medical issues

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

• Nursing diploma is acceptable

• Basic - Interpersonal skills
• Basic - Communication skills

• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• CNA Gerontological certification preferred
• This position will be moving to Market Mall Summer 2026
