Join Lennox and Addington County General Hospital as a Registered Practical Nurse within the Surgical Team. Focus on preoperative, intraoperative, and post-surgical responsibilities in a collaborative environment.
In this rotating shift role, you will engage in crucial nursing duties while maintaining established protocols and standards. Qualified candidates will hold a relevant nursing degree, current C.L.S certification, and be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Experience in the Operating Room and skills in administering intravenous therapy are essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and post-surgical tasks
• Collaborate with surgical team members effectively
• Administer intravenous therapy and I.V. medications
• Communicate courteously and tactfully with patients and staff
• Promote a safe and positive workplace environment
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Nursing Program
• C.L.S certification is required
• Recent Operating Room experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle crisis situations effectively
