Join the Faculty of Nursing as a Clinical Practica Coach in North Battleford. This position offers an opportunity to impact nursing education by mentoring students in diverse clinical environments.
As a Clinical Nursing Practica Coach, you will oversee nursing students in labs, seminars, and community settings throughout their training in the Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Applicants must be registered nurses or psychiatric nurses with significant clinical experience and a passion for teaching. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor students through clinical and lab assessments
• Assess and evaluate nursing students’ progress
• Provide effective nursing instruction and guidance
• Lead and model small group facilitation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in educational settings
Requirements:
• Practicing membership with CRNS or RPNAS in good standing
• Recent experience as a Registered Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
• Current CPR and TLR certified
• Effective communication and educational skills
