Part-Time Clinical Resource Nurse

Elevate patient care as a Clinical Resource Nurse at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital in Saskatoon. This part-time, temporary role focuses on system navigation and patient flow coordination.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse with experience in charge nursing, acute, and community settings. You'll be integral in managing patient admissions, discharges, and bed resources while advocating for patient needs. Your leadership and communication skills will enhance service delivery across the Maternal Services department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient bed assignments and discharge planning

• Advocate for patients and their families

• Coordinate staff scheduling for optimal workflow

• Identify supply and equipment needs proactively

• Monitor and enhance overall patient flow on the unit

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or diploma accepted

• Three years charge nurse experience in relevant clinical area

• Five years recent nursing practice experience

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) required

• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
