Exciting part time opportunity for a Registered Nurse at Southbridge Care Homes in Port Dover, ON. Responsibilities include medication administration and supporting resident health.

As a Registered Nurse, you will report directly to the Director of Care, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for residents. You'll assess health conditions, manage care plans, and supervise nursing staff. Engaging in multidisciplinary meetings will foster excellence in nursing practices and resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement care plans and monitor residents’ health

• Support nursing staff with training and performance evaluations

• Prepare for RAI MDS assessments efficiently

• Take charge in the absence of the Director of Care

• Document residents' health changes and report to doctors

Requirements:

• Valid RN license from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Certification in First Aid and BLS

• Experience with cognitive impairments preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Effective communication skills with residents and families
