As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide effective pre-operative and post-operative care. This position includes duties such as admitting patients, monitoring recovery, and delivering patient and family education mitment to safety and team collaboration is critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Admit and prepare patients for surgical procedures
• Observe and document post-operative patient progress
• Administer and manage medications
• Educate patients and families during discharge
• Ensure a safe environment for patient care
Requirements:
• Licensed with the Saskatchewan College of Nursing Professionals
• Experience in acute care environments required
• Previous surgical patient care experience is an asset
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Strong critical thinking and flexibility in workload management
