The Saskatchewan Health Authority is looking for an experienced nurse with a strong background in charge nursing and patient advocacy. In this role, you will manage discharges, coordinate bed assignments, and ensure that all patient needs are met through effective supply management and scheduling practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate admissions, bed assignments, and discharge processes
• Advocate effectively for patients and families in care
• Ensure staff schedules align with unit needs
• Analyze and address supply and equipment requirements
• Be a key participant in improving patient flow within the department
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or diploma accepted
• Minimum of three years charge nurse experience
• Five years recent acute or community nursing experience
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) required
• Registration or eligibility with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
