Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Unscheduled Care

Located at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the position is permanent with 36-hour work weeks. We seek a driven Registered General Nurse with proven clinical expertise and a commitment to patient-centered care. You will be integral in managing patient flow, timely assessments, and facilitating collaborative treatment planning in a busy acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture detailed patient histories and conduct thorough clinical exams

• Assess and analyze various diagnostic tests for patient management

• Develop strategic treatment plans based on clinical evidence

• Execute necessary procedures within your scope of practice

• Prescribe treatments as a certified Non-Medical Prescriber

Requirements:

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse

• Evidence of or pursuit of an advanced practice academic qualification

• Proficient in clinical assessments and decision-making processes

• Qualification in Non-Medical Prescribing or readiness to pursue

• Experience in acute or urgent care environments preferred
