Support systemic therapy patients in Saskatoon through skilled nursing assessment, medication administration, and clinical coordination. This casual Registered Nurse position works days with relief and float responsibilities.
Within Systemic Therapy & Outpatient Services, the Registered Nurse provides high quality holistic care throughout cancer treatment. Responsibilities span assessment, intervention, treatment coordination and administration, teaching, counselling, support, and follow-up. The role reports within the Care Services Division.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver holistic nursing care to oncology patients
- Perform patient assessments and clinical interventions
- Coordinate treatment and administer prescribed therapies
- Teach and present information to patients
- Provide counselling, support, and follow-up care
- Nursing bachelor degree or diploma
- Basic Life Saver Certification BLS-C
- Current Saskatchewan registered nursing licensure
- Fine motor accuracy for IV lines and medications
- Ability to interpret detailed information and solve problems
