Maintain standard levels of vegetation in the area surrounding utility poles by:Applying herbicides to control weeds and grassesUsing equipment to maintain appropriate levels of vegetationFollowing contracts for work requirements and job specificationsCollect data to monitor and manage levels of invasive species of vegetationProperly maintain, calibrate, and operate all tools and equipment including, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.There is plenty of room for growth with us!Qualifications
What We’re Seeking:
Love of the outdoorsAbility to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA trainingAbility to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hireRequired:
valid driver’s licensePreferred:
Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Airbrake EndorsementPreferred: vegetation control experience or other related workPreferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state lawPreferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional® Additional Information
