General Labourer

We are hiring a General Labourer to start immediately.

Location – North Battleford, SK (Onsite Work)

Your role within the team:

Snow clearing, shoveling, salting, and sanding operations.

Planting, mowing, and ground maintenance as necessary.

Prune and care for plants, shrubs, trees, and lawns within the gardens.

Landscaping, mowing, weeds, watering, landscaping repairs, etc.

Garbage and debris pickup and ensuring the site appearance is well maintained.

Operate the necessary equipment to maintain landscaped areas, such as bobcat, snowblower, lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.

This is an outdoor job that takes place in all weather.

Expected compensation for this role is $18 - $21 an hour depending on experience and qualifications. Hourly wages are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. The Ideal Candidate:

High School Diploma.

Class 5 Driver's License is required.

A Criminal Record Check and Vulnerability Check will be required.

Job task planning and organizing.

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.).

Driver's license.

Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control.

Operate various equipment and machinery.

Collect and load refuse on garbage trucks.

Clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads and public grounds.

Assist skilled tradespersons.

Reading text.

Oral communication.

Working with others.

Problem solving.

Decision making.
