Position: Veterinary Technician for Large Animals

This role involves active participation in patient care activities, managing equipment, and mentoring veterinary students in clinical skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in surgical and medical procedures

• Provide care and manage large animals' health

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility

• Support students through hands-on learning experiences

• Monitor and address any unexpected circumstances

Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year veterinary technology program

• Registered or eligible for registration with SAVT

• At least three years of direct experience in a clinical setting

• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

• Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
