POSITION OVERVIEWThe QC Manager will design, implement, and oversee Bravo Zulu’s Quality Control Program across Canada-based and deployed operations. This role is responsible for establishing QC plans, conducting inspections and audits, tracking nonconformances, and ensuring that all deliverables meet client requirements, DND/NATO standards, and contractual obligations.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of QC/QA experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
- Experience conducting inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with DND, NATO, or defence contract compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Eligible for Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
- Certification as a Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent.
- Experience with ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (health and safety).
- Develop and maintain Bravo Zulu’s QC program aligned with ISO 9001 and defence contracting standards.
- Create QC procedures, checklists, and documentation for projects and contracts.
- Conduct regular inspections of materials, services, and subcontractor work.
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external client audits.
- Identify deficiencies and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure adherence to DND, NATO, Government of Canada contractual standards.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all projects.
- Track KPIs related to quality, safety, and compliance.
- Provide training to staff and subcontractors on QC processes.
- Promote a culture of quality and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
- Maintain QC records, inspection logs, and audit reports.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients.
- Support proposal teams by providing QC capacity statements and compliance history.
