As a Compliance Inspector, you will play a critical role in public safety. Conducting inspections and investigations, your expertise will guide operators in maintaining compliance with the Technical Standards and Safety Act. With a strong focus on education and technical competency, you will be a trusted resource for improving safety standards within the province.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-service inspections of pressure-related equipment
• Investigate and respond to safety incidents and failures
• Enforce compliance directives to ensure community safety
• Assess quality programs and on-site work for standards
• Record findings and decisions for regulatory oversight
Requirements:
• At least five years in the BPV industry
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and codes
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license required
• Effective communication skills for various audiences
