Experienced Safety Coordinator McIlvenna Bay

Eldorado Gold is hiring an experienced Safety Coordinator for the McIlvenna Bay site. This full-time role focuses on health and safety compliance in a 14/14 shift rotation.

As part of the Health & Safety Team, you will ensure the implementation of safety programs and enhance organizational safety awareness. You will also prepare required reports, develop training sessions, and lead incident investigations to improve safety measures. This position is vital in building a resilient safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Conduct safety audits and inspections

• Develop health and safety training programs

• Lead risk assessment and hazard incident processes

• Maintain safety records and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health or related field

• Minimum 5 years in a safety coordination role

• Certification as a Safety Officer is essential

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
