Environmental Compliance Pipeline Inspector

Support environmental compliance as a Pipeline Inspector with Arnett & Burgess Energy Services. This role focuses on monitoring construction projects throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

As an Environmental Compliance Inspector, you will report to the Environmental Manager and play a crucial role in enforcing regulations during pipeline development. This physically demanding position requires you to conduct inspections, monitor wildlife interactions, and coordinate environmental incident responses while working in various outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor compliance with environmental permits and regulations

• Inspect all phases of pipeline construction for adherence to environmental protocols

• Manage erosion control initiatives and suggest improvements

• Track wildlife interactions and enforce protection strategies

• Document inspection findings and remediate any compliance issues

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Environmental Science or related field

• 3 years of relevant inspection experience

• Familiarity with laws such as the Water Act and Fisheries Act

• Ability to operate GPS and mapping software

• Valid driver’s license and H2S Alive certification
