Become a crucial part of Nex Gen’s compliance management team as a Compliance Specialist based in Saskatoon. Focus on interpreting Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission regulations for the Rook I Project.

This full-time, fixed-term position requires a proactive individual to track legislative developments and assess impacts on Nex Gen. You will be the subject matter expert responsible for identifying compliance gaps and collaborating with various teams. Your skill set should include strong organizational abilities and an analytical mindset, especially for those familiar with mining or construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor regulatory and industry developments impacting operations

• Identify and mitigate compliance gaps with new regulations

• Manage compliance processes with necessary documentation

• Collaborate with teams to ensure regulatory expectations are met

• Support audits, document revisions, and compliance reporting

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in compliance or quality roles

• Knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements

• Degree or diploma in a related field

• Intermediate Microsoft 365 and database management skills

• Effective communication and detail-oriented approach
