Research Officer in Digital Agriculture

In this continuing full-time position at NRC's Aquatic and Crop Resource Development, you will design and manage experimental systems to simulate diverse agricultural conditions. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize growth chambers and vertical farms

• Implement automated tech for indoor agriculture systems

• Conduct experiments on environmental variables affecting crops

• Analyze multifactorial experiments for data-driven decisions

• Generate scientific outputs including reports and patents

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in relevant fields with post-doctoral experience

• 4-6 years in controlled environment systems

• Recent engagement with advanced digital technologies

• Significant experience in designing experiments

• Proven ability in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration
