Clerk​/Cashier - Lake Co-op @Food Store Domremy

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time casual Clerk/Cashier at our Food Store location in Domremy, Saskatchewan.

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co‑operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives with a strong customer‑focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Serve guests, pack groceries, stock, and face shelves.
• Maintain a clean and well‑maintained department; clean up breakage and spills, clean shelves, bins and displays as needed, and keep aisles free of debris.
• Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age‑restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco and lottery.
• Operate point‑of‑sale system and other electronic devices and process sales.
• Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in first out (FIFO).
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• 19 years of age or older, honest, trustworthy, results‑oriented, and proud of the work you do.
• Strongly service‑oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
• Willing and able to obtain WHMIS and Serve it Right certifications.
• Attentive to detail with strong cash management skills.
• Able to fulfill physical job requirements—standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
• Flexible work schedule; weekends and holiday work is required.
