Customer-Focused Deli Clerk Position

Elevate your customer service skills in the Deli Clerk role! Join a dedicated team where you’ll interact with customers, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of product display.

Reporting directly to the Deli Manager, this position requires a service-oriented approach with specific duties like preparing and wrapping merchandise. You'll also be responsible for product display, replenishing stock, and reporting any complaints to the Department Manager. Flexibility in working hours is essential, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding assistance and service to customers

• Maintain and display all deli products according to procedures

• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed

• Prepare and price merchandise while checking code dates

• Follow safety measures and perform general sanitation duties

Requirements:

• Physically capable of lifting up to 30 pounds

• Experience with deli equipment and meat products

• Strong customer service orientation and skills

• Availability for flexible working hours, including weekends

• Relevant education or experience is an asset
