The Territory Sales Associate (TSA) sells and ensures best‑in‑class merchandising to include building displays, packing out product, reinforcing permanent secondary displays, and maintaining salability of all authorized Hershey items.
What Will You Do- Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory, ensuring flawless retail execution of headquarters sales and merchandising plans.
- Achieve all merchandising objectives through effective use of permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles established within the retail execution plan.
- Report weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions within the territory.
- Report daily activities using tablets, submitting upon completion of each day.
- Manage responsibilities for the sales territory, which may vary due to territory size, number of retailers, and location.
- Participate in ensuring store appearance and merchandise displays align with plans, selling history, and new receipts.
- Consult with buyers, marketing, and sellers on product positioning and presentation plans.
- Create and coordinate visual presentation of merchandise, including store layout and displays.
- Coach sales staff on merchandise to enable them to suggest appropriate products that meet customers’ needs.
- 1–3 years of sales experience with sound knowledge of sales techniques in consumer packaged goods (preferred).
- Knowledge of, and ability to develop and use strategies, practices, and tools for communicating with retail customers and managing day‑to‑day operations of retail stores.
- Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with a good standing driving record (required).
- Personal auto insurance with at least the government set minimum liability.
- Must reside within the boundaries of the assigned territory.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a team environment.
- Detail‑oriented with fresh thinking.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with iPad technology.
- Willingness to be part of a high‑performing team that works hard and has fun.

Additional Details And RequirementsPart‑time position – 6 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, total of 24 hours per week. Access to a personal vehicle; mileage rates will be paid.

The anticipated hourly base salary range for this role is $15.50 to $19.40. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of job‑related factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skill set, education, and training. In addition to a market‑competitive base salary, the total rewards package includes performance‑based incentives and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package designed to support overall physical, mental, and financial well‑being (as applicable).
