Position
Part Time Floor Leader – 20‑29 hours per week
Job OverviewAs a Floor Leader you support Store Management Team across all areas of the business. Lead sales, store opening/closing, analyze sales results and lead training sessions. Work to ensure exceptional customer experience, motivated staff and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Driving Sales: Use Store Force dashboard to coach and provide feedback, adjust shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals. Take ownership of results and grow contribution to overall sales.

Experience:
Lead by example to deliver world‑class customer experience, conduct product demonstrations, observe and listen to consultations, collaborate with team to exceed daily sales goals. - Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values and articulate position on animal testing, freshest cosmetics, ethical buying, 100% vegetarian, handmade, naked packaging, host store parties and community engagement.
- Product Passion: Increase depth of product knowledge through constant learning and consistently make informed product recommendations for every need.
- Team Development: Train and coach sales ambassadors and peers on effective sales techniques and product knowledge, assess performance, seek feedback to improve skills and knowledge.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging: Encourage open communication, actively listen to team perspectives, foster sense of belonging and recognize employee contributions.
- Cash Handling & Store Opening/Closing: Manage cash handling, opening/closing register, reconciling cash drawers, preparing nightly deposits, securing store at end of day.
- Time & Attendance: Lead by example in attendance and punctuality, monitor employee breaks, promote healthy work environment.
- Visuals & Merchandising: Maintain clean, organized and visually appealing store to enhance customer shopping experience and drive sales.
- Stock & Inventory: Train team on inventory best practices, support management with inventory tasks, adjust product displays based on sales.
- Policies & Procedures: Support management team to keep store compliant, ensure staff practice company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace and health & safety.
- Required: Minimum 1 year experience in customer service and sales, cash handling and opening/closing procedures, supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, training, problem‑solving in customer service, rapid‑paced team environment, knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty and ethical business, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Preferred: Experience with consultation‑based customer service models, analyzing sales metrics, working in skincare or cosmetics, cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training, fluency in Spanish, French or other languages.
$17.60 CAD per hour. Midtown Plaza Pay.
