Retail Position

Position: Retail Support Position at Saskatchewan Polytechnic
Join Saskatchewan Polytechnic as a Bookstore Support staff member in Saskatoon. This role requires strong organizational skills and involves managing order fulfillment, inventory, and customer interactions on-site.

At 36 hours per week, you will efficiently process book and supply orders, ensuring accurate packing and delivery. Collaboration with program staff and excellent customer service are key, alongside ensuring cleanliness and organization within the bookstore environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill book orders and prepare packing slips for delivery

• Maintain financial records and balance daily tills

• Assist with inventory stocking and shelf organization

• Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders

• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain POS system accuracy

Requirements:

• Relevant certificate in marketing or similar fields

• Experience in a retail environment (1 year minimum)

• Knowledge of basic accounting and management practices

• Intermediate computer skills with spreadsheets

• Capacity for moderate to heavy lifting
