Customer-Focused Deli Clerk Position

Join our team as a Deli Clerk and elevate customer experiences while managing bakery and deli products effectively. This role requires strong service orientation and the ability to lift and move stock.

Responsible for ensuring the Bakery/Deli department runs smoothly, you will assist customers, maintain inventory displays, and prepare merchandise for sale, all while reporting to the Bakery/Deli Manager. This physically active position involves addressing customer needs, monitoring product quality, and observing safety protocols. Regular availability across various shifts will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous assistance and product information to customers

• Maintain standard displays of bakery and deli products

• Order and track inventory as required

• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties

• Monitor equipment and report any repairs needed

Requirements:

• Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds frequently

• Strong customer service skills and motivation

• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings

• Familiarity with bakery and deli equipment operation

• Commitment to following safety and cleanliness protocols
