The Sales Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to the Sales department at Dakota Dunes Resort. This role assists with client communications, proposal and contract preparation, database management, event coordination, and sales administration while helping deliver exceptional service and memorable experiences for guests and clients.
As a keymember of the resort team, the Sales Coordinator serves as an important liaison between the Sales department and operational teams across the property, helping ensure information is communicated effectively and guest expectations are met.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, professional, and enjoys working with people. They possess strong written and verbal communication skills, thrive in acollaborative environment, and are comfortable working with multiple departments to support the success of meetings, events, group business, andresort partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Sales Support- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and client correspondence.
- Maintain accurate client records, databases, and files.
- Assist with lead tracking, inquiries, and follow-up communications.
- Coordinate site inspections, familiarization tours, and client visits.
- Support group bookings, meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and sales materials.
- Support participation in trade shows, sales missions, and industry events.
- Actas a liaison between the Sales department and operational teams throughout the resort.
- Communicate client needs and event details to appropriate departments.
- Assist with internal coordination to ensure seamless guest and client experiences.
- Help maintain accurate records and documentation related to group and event business.
- Support day-to-day administrative functions of the Sales department.
- Provide professional, friendly, and welcoming service to guests, clients, and partners.
- Respondto inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Assistin creating memorable experiences that reflect the hospitality standards of Dakota Dunes Resort.
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, customer service, administration,sales support, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Abilityto manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional,positive, and guest-focused attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Delphi, Salesforce, Opera, CRM systems, or hospitality sales software is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry and experience supporting meetings,conferences, weddings, group business, or special events is considered anasset.
