Position: Full-Time Employment Counsellor Needed
Location: North Battleford

Become an Employment Counsellor with the Prairie Employment Program in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. This role is dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate employment barriers and achieve workforce success.

You will play a vital role in guiding clients by managing their caseload and offering personalized employment services. Responsibilities include assessing employability, helping clients set achievable goals, and leading job readiness sessions. You'll also connect with local employers to expand opportunities for those you serve, with occasional travel required to fulfill your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive employment services to clients

• Assess and document client employability challenges

• Support clients in developing employment strategies

• Prepare and deliver job readiness training modules

• Establish relationships with employers to enhance job placements

Requirements:

• Some post-secondary education or relevant experience

• Strong reporting and computer skills

• Sensitivity towards diverse client needs

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• CPIC with vulnerable sector check
