Join Battlefords Concern for Youth as a Mentorship Program Assistant and help shape positive outcomes for youth. This full-time role focuses on one-on-one mentorship and collaborative programming.
You will work with children and youth aged 5-19, delivering tailored mentorship to nurture their growth. This position spans late afternoons to evenings, with some weekend hours, and involves collaboration with external agencies to enhance program impact. A valid driver's license and ability to transport clients are essential requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate one-on-one and group mentorship sessions
• Co-develop youth programs addressing mental health
• Collaborate with other agencies for program implementation
• Document and manage confidential case notes
• Transport clients safely and responsibly when needed
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of mentoring experience or similar
• Some post-secondary education is required
• Certification in First Aid/CPR, ASIST, MHFA is a must
• Comprehensive background checks required
• Familiarity with local support services advantageous
