Support children and families as a Case Aide with Dilico Anishinabek Family Care in Fort William First Nation. This full-time role allows for flexible scheduling to enhance work-life balance.
Dilico is looking for dedicated individuals to fill five Case Aide positions focused on assisting youth involved in child welfare services. Under the guidance of the Support Services Manager, you will provide necessary transportation and support, ensuring that care aligns with Dilico’s mission. A strong background in human services and relevant experience with children is vital for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate transport for children receiving services
• Assist families in accessing necessary community support
• Participate in on-call duties for urgent service needs
• Document progress and interactions effectively
• Work closely with the Support Services Manager and team members
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Human Services or similar
• Experience working with families and children is a must
• Traditional knowledge from First Nations, Inuit, or Metis backgrounds preferred
• Required Class “G” Driver’s License and safe vehicle
• Complete Criminal Records Search including Vulnerable Sector Screening
