Help youth in Saskatoon as an Outreach Worker with the Ground Zero Transitional Housing project. This full-time role focuses on emergency planning, advocacy, and transportation services.
We're seeking two proactive individuals who are dedicated to youth support. A background in human services or equivalent experience is essential. Responsibilities include providing emergency support and maintaining effective relationships in a confidential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver emergency planning and youth transportation services
• Advocate for youth legal and housing needs
• Cultivate effective working relationships with youth and organizations
• Ensure services are provided with confidentiality and boundaries
• Engage in required shift work, including evenings and weekends
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in human services or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clear driving record
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector verification needed
Engage with youth and support their journey through essential outreach services in Saskatoon.
