Position: Living Sky School Counsellor Role
Location: North Battleford

Join Living Sky School Division as a School Counsellor in Maymont and Hafford. This part-time position emphasizes mental health support and collaborative relationships with the community.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing student well-being, delivering responsive counselling, and participating in initiatives that foster resilience. The position demands collaboration with school staff and families to identify and respond to diverse emotional and social needs in an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counselling sessions

• Initiate capacity-building and preventative programs

• Help schools manage behavioural concerns

• Work with families and community partners on student success

• Engage in crisis response as required

Requirements:

• Degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, etc.)

• Prior experience in counselling preferred

• Familiarity with community resources beneficial

• Valid Saskatchewan driver’s licence required

• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
