Position: Keyanow Family Outreach Worker Role

Join Keyanow Child and Family Centre as an Outreach Worker, dedicated to providing community-based prevention services. Support families and individuals through counseling, group work, and educational initiatives.

The Outreach Worker position within the Family Enhancement Unit at Keyanow involves crucial early intervention services for children and families. Successful applicants will leverage their skills in group facilitation and community engagement. A certification in relevant fields such as Addictions or Social Services is required, along with demonstrated experience in similar roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual counseling and group programs

• Engage actively with local communities and families

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored support plans

• Organize educational events for community awareness

• Support youth and adults in accessing required resources

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications in counseling or human services

• Proven experience in outreach or community services

• Flexibility for variable work hours, including evenings

• Class 5 driver’s license and valid driver’s abstract

• Successful RCMP Criminal and Vulnerable Sector Checks
