Position: Addictions Counsellor with Community Focus

Join a dedicated team as an Addictions Counsellor in North Battleford, providing essential support within a permanent, full-time role. Help clients navigate addiction services with compassion and expertise.
In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive delivery of addiction services, encompassing clinical case management and community development. Your advanced assessment skills will ensure clients receive the help they need, while community education initiatives spread awareness about substance abuse. Contribute to impactful change under the supervision of the Manager of Addiction Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client service delivery effectively

• Evaluate and implement addiction service programs

• Conduct community education regarding substance abuse

• Oversee clinical assessments and case management

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Dependency or equivalent

• Class 5 driver’s license required

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Basic problem-solving skills necessary

• Familiarity with addictions screening processes
