Overview
Pay Band Psychologist - PhD. Pay range: $66,185 to $80,744 (5-step range). Full‑time, permanent position located in Saskatoon. The position is within the Mental Health Community Clinics & Programs – Specialized Youth Programs, and will work under the direction of the Coordinator of the Young Offender program.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment, treatment and consultation services to young offenders who engage in aggressive/violent behaviours.

Seek to develop innovative responses to the young offender's needs and issues.

Work in conjunction with other young offender staff and agencies to develop evidence‑based inter‑agency services for identified youth and their families.

Participate in program development and evaluation, student supervision, and collaborate with staff on the young offender program from other departments within Saskatoon Health Region.

Qualifications
Education

PhD in Clinical Psychology

Licenses

Registered Psychologist (RPsych)

Competencies

Assessment skills – Advanced

Communication skills – Advanced

Case management skills – Basic

Organizational skills – Advanced

Knowledge and Abilities

Ability to work as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team

Ability to work independently

Knowledge of diverse cultures, values and traditions
