Position: Social Worker for Student Support Services
Shape the future of students' mental health at RCCDSB as a committed full-time Social Worker. This role emphasizes student counseling and community collaboration efforts.

RCCDSB is looking for a Social Worker to guide attendance counselors and provide direct mental health support. Key to this position is your ability to assess student needs, implement evidence-based programs, and ensure effective service delivery. Your leadership and coordination skills will be pivotal in achieving success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and support students’ social and emotional needs

• Provide direct counseling services in designated schools

• Facilitate collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

• Develop and run evidence-based support groups

• Manage referrals to local community services

Requirements:

• Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work

• Minimum of 3 years related counseling experience

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapies preferred

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills

• Access to a reliable vehicle with a valid license
