Position: Social Worker for Family Support
Location: North Battleford

Strengthen family connections and student support at McKitrick and Connaught Schools with Living Sky School Division. This part-time Social Worker role focuses on advocacy, counseling, and community resource coordination.

Living Sky School Division seeks a compassionate Social Worker for its Family Support Model. You'll bridge communication between home, school, and community, assisting families facing challenges such as trauma and mental health.

Your role will involve direct family support, fostering relationships, and facilitating access to essential services for children's educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build trusting relationships with families and caregivers

• Provide family counselling and short-term interventions

• Conduct needs assessments and develop support plans

• Connect families with community resources and services

• Advocate for families facing barriers to service access

Requirements:

• Experience in family counselling and case management

• Knowledge of local community resources

• Background in school or family support settings

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Eligible for registration with SASW
