Empower clients to achieve financial independence as a Money Management Caseworker with The Salvation Army. This role includes casework support and assistance in developing money management skills.
The Salvation Army is seeking a Money Management Caseworker to join their mission-driven team. In this role, you will collaborate with clients on the Budget Management Program, helping them set financial goals and develop essential life skills. You will facilitate both individual sessions and group workshops to foster growth in money management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage an assigned caseload of clients
• Develop monthly budget plans with each client
• Conduct individual sessions to track progress
• Facilitate budget management seminars for clients
• Connect clients with internal and external resources
Requirements:
• Completion of a two-year post-secondary program
• Two years of related experience in social services
• Familiarity with financial management and administrative tasks
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Valid Criminal Record Check and Driver’s License
