Position: Social Worker BSW for Vulnerable Communities
Location: North Battleford

Become a Social Worker BSW dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities in Saskatchewan. Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to improve client health and wellbeing.

In the role of Social Worker – BSW, you will engage with clients as part of the Saskatchewan HIV Strategy framework. Your expertise in social determinants of health and harm reduction will guide your approach as you assist clients through various health challenges. This position requires effective communication, leadership, and the ability to function independently while prioritizing diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate care for clients and their support systems

• Apply Saskatchewan HIV Strategy principles to daily tasks

• Collaborate with various professionals in client care

• Exhibit leadership in managing client caseloads

• Employ problem-solving skills for effective interventions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Eligible for SASW registration

• Familiarity with Public Health Act regulations

• Strong organizational and communication skills
