Position: Full-Time Parent Support Worker Sucker River
Make a difference in the lives of families in Sucker River as a Full-Time Parent Support Worker with Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services. Support the Maternal Child Health Program focusing on health outcomes and community resources.

This position is ideal for compassionate caregivers eager to assist families with infants and young children. The Parent Support Worker will offer in-home support while fostering healthy child development and providing a hands-on learning approach. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and flexibility to adapt to various family needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home support for families with children aged 0-6 years

• Teach health promotion topics to individuals and groups

• Collaborate with Community Health Nurse to deliver services

• Act as a liaison and advocate for families

• Organize workshops and community education events

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education Certificate preferred

• Growing Great Kids training is an asset

• First Aid & CPR certification required or willing to obtain

• Personal experience with infants or young children is a plus

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License needed
