Your role is crucial for fostering stability and healing.
As a Weekend CCA, you will play a key role at The Carter House, where we provide treatment and support for parents battling substance use. You will assist with daily living tasks, engage children in learning, and ensure a trauma-informed approach to care. This role emphasizes not only emotional support but also practical skills needed for healthy family dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist families in daily activities and routines
• Model proper communication and parenting skills
• Supervise children and their educational activities
• Monitor and document client interactions and progress
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Completion of a Community Support Worker program
• Experience in family and addiction support
• Understanding Indigenous culture and trauma
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Valid driver's license and clear criminal record
Contribute to family wellness and recovery while championing healing practices at The Carter House.
