As an Outreach Support Worker, you will work 40 hours weekly, focusing on coaching and supporting participants through hiring and intake processes.
Your role will entail fostering personal development and connecting individuals with necessary resources, educational opportunities, and community support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage participant hiring and onboarding support
• Help set and strategize for personal goals
• Offer encouragement while navigating challenges
• Link participants to education and skill development resources
• Maintain comprehensive participant documentation
Requirements:
• Experience in human or social services required
• Knowledge of systemic barriers and community services
• Familiarity with Harm Reduction principles preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
