Saskatoon Youth Worker at EGADZ

Make a difference as a Youth Worker at Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre EGADZ Inc. This full-time position provides vital support to youth through My Homes Youth Housing Program with required shift work.

EGADZ is committed to serving hard-to-reach youth, encouraging them toward more positive choices in life. Ideal candidates will showcase compassion, develop effective relationships, and assist youth in navigating their challenges.

Your role will demand collaboration with other staff and agencies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support youth through the My Homes Residential Program

• Create and maintain strong, trusting relationships

• Work collaboratively with staff and community partners

• Ensure confidentiality and appropriate boundaries

• Articulate concepts clearly in both speaking and writing

Requirements:

• Post-secondary qualification in human services or equivalent experience

• 1-2 years of experience working with youth

• Clean class 5 driver's license required

• Criminal background check completed within 6 months

• CPR and ASIST training to be acquired within initial six months
