In this on-site role, you will empower individuals by acting as their guide and advocate. By offering personalized support, you'll assist them in overcoming barriers related to mental health and financial challenges. The Direct Support Professional collaborates closely with clients, families, and community resources to promote independence and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized support in daily activities
• Serve as a mentor to enhance life skills
• Support clients' community engagement efforts
• Work alongside families and service partners
• Promote client self-determination and growth
Requirements:
• Possess a valid Sask. Class 5 license
• Access to reliable transportation required
• Preferably have relevant experience in the field
• Formal education in related discipline is a plus
• Advocate for diversity and inclusion in practice
